Greater Noida is developed on the land of farmers of Greater Noida. Many farmers who are staying at different villages of Greater Noida. These villages are Sakipur, Navada, Tugalpur, Bilaspur, Sutyana, Mohiyapur, Safipur, Kasna etc. These villagers are previously ploughing their fields but due to devolopment they have surrendered their lands to Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority and taken compensations of land. Now villages are also become part of the urban area. Being the home town of U.P.Chief Minister Ms Mayawati, Greater Noida has got a good attention of development. Now the new Yamuna Expressway Authority which is being consistuted for development of Agra-Noida Highway is also located at Beta-II sector at greater Noida. This authority is also acquiring villages near to proposed highway.
